Hi
Anyone know of a good solution for hardware monitoring solution that is
vendor independant? I know Dell, HP, have software for their hardware
but I don't know of any packages that work independent of the hardware
vendor. I am looking for a package that can monitor and send hardware
alerts such as drive failures, temperature, RAID array status, etc...

Thanks

Thanks for the response but Nagios monitors mostly services,
performance, and processes. It does not do much, if any, true hardware
monitoring
